Protocol stack
The Wolverine Recovery Protocol
Biohacker and triathlete Ben Greenfield used this exact peptide combination to heal a torn upper hamstring, publicly documenting that it worked 'with pretty surprising speed.' His Wolverine Stack combines BPC-157's localised repair properties with TB-500's systemic wound-healing mechanisms and GHK-Cu's collagen-promoting effects. In Australia, all three require a prescription from an AHPRA-registered practitioner and must be sourced through a licensed compounding pharmacy. The optional Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 addition amplifies recovery by optimising GH release during sleep — the primary period when tissue repair occurs.

What's in this stack
BPC-157
Prescription required250–500 mcg · Once daily
Timing: Morning, fasted — inject near the injury site for localised effect
Primary localised healing agent. For gut repair, oral capsule form is appropriate. For musculoskeletal injuries, subcutaneous injection near the target site is preferred.
TB-500
Prescription required5 mg · Twice weekly (acute phase); reduce to 2.5 mg twice weekly after 4 weeks
Timing: Any time — systemic distribution is not dependent on injection site
Works systemically alongside BPC-157's localised effect. Promotes new cell migration to injury sites and reduces inflammation body-wide.
GHK-Cu
Prescription required1–2 mg · Once daily
Timing: Morning
Collagen and elastin synthesis support. Amplifies the tissue remodelling of BPC-157 and TB-500. Particularly valuable for tendon and ligament recovery.
Ipamorelin + CJC-1295
Prescription required100–200 mcg each peptide · Once daily
Timing: Before bed — aligns GH release with sleep-phase tissue repair
OPTIONAL — add after the first 2 weeks of BPC-157 + TB-500. Amplifies GH-driven repair during sleep.

30 Apr 2026Anti-inflammatory effects typically peak by week 2. Range of motion often begins improving. Continue loading doses.
Week 2 · MilestoneTB-500 maintenance
14 May 2026Reduce TB-500 from twice weekly to once weekly maintenance dose. BPC-157 continues daily.
Week 4 · Dose changeFirst assessment
14 May 2026Assess pain levels, range of motion, and functional strength compared to baseline. Adjust protocol with your practitioner.
Week 4 · Blood workTissue repair phase
28 May 2026Collagen remodelling is actively underway. Physiotherapy and targeted exercise become more productive at this stage.
